The African International Economic Forum (AIEF) is a dynamic platform aimed at channelling global investment into Africa’s high-growth sectors. With Africa poised to become home to the largest working-age population by 2040 and contributing to 85 million new jobs in services by 2030, the continent is a burgeoning frontier for transformative investments. The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), representing a market of over 1.3 billion people and a combined GDP of $3.4 trillion, promises to boost intra-African trade by 52.3% by 2025 and generate $450 billion in income gains by 2035. These developments underscore Africa’s readiness to emerge as a global economic powerhouse.
